Athlete Highlights

Apex Fencing Academy Fencers are to compete in their first international tournament.

We wanted to share some exciting news regarding our fencers.

Two of the best fencers in the Cadet (under 17) age category in the US are at Apex Fencing Academy. They have done extremely well in national competitions and reached the top 10 on the US national points list. Aiden Click is a 15-year-old Epee fencer, he has been fencing for 3 years and is currently ranked 3rd in Epee in the US. Mitch Huth is a 16-year-old Foil fencer, he has been fencing for 7 years and is currently ranked 9th in Foil in the US. Both have been selected by USA Fencing, to travel to their first international tournament which will be a European Cadet Circuit event, where they will represent the United States. Mitch will be traveling to compete in Budapest, Hungary on November 13-14. He will fence in both the individual and team events in Foil. Aiden will be traveling to Grenoble, France on November 20-21, where he will be competing in both the individual and team events in Epee. These fencers are also on the road to qualify for the Cadet World Championships 2022.

Make sure to follow these two young hard-working athletes and cheer for them. We will share the live results link as soon as it is available. We are extremely proud of these two fences and want to wish them both good luck!
